Additional Eucharistic Prayers

The period of authorized experimental use for the Additional Eucharistic Prayers for use when significant numbers of children are present comes to an end on 30 June 2010 and parishes authorized to use the prayers are now invited to offer comments and observations on the Prayers and their use.  This feedback will be invaluable in helping the Liturgical Commission refine the Prayers before they return to the House of Bishops towards the end of the year.  It is hoped that the House of Bishops will then introduce them into the General Synod early in 2011. A questionnaire has been posted to all the places authorized to take part in the trial use of the prayers, and is also available for download below. This should be returned immediately after the period of experimental use, and in any case no later than Monday 12 July 2010 to Sue Moore, Assistant Secretary, Liturgical Commission, Church House, Great Smith Street, London SW1P 3AZ, by fax to 020 7898 1369 or by email to aep.feedback@c-of-e.org.uk.
