Cathedrals’ Liturgy and Music Group

The Cathedrals’ Liturgy and Music Group acts, under the auspices of its parent body, the Association of English Cathedrals, as a forum for discussion on liturgy and music within English Cathedrals and Royal Peculiars.

Its membership comprises representatives from among the Deans, Precentors, Organists / Directors of Music, Administrators and Architects from the Cathedrals and Royal Peculiars of the Church of England, members of the Liturgical Commission and the Director of the Royal School of Church Music.

From time to time the Group produces papers on practical liturgical concerns.

The Chair is the Very Revd Michael Tavinor, Dean of Hereford and the Secretary is the Revd Canon Gavin Kirk, Precentor of Lincoln.
